Whatsapp users will be able to lock the chats with a secret code soon.We usually lock chats on whatsapp but with screen lock i.e fingerprint or face unlock.The locked chats will be visible on Main chats list.Whatsapp is working on a new chat lock feature that adds more privacy.
Whatsapp chat lock with Secret Code
Now you can lock chats in whatsapp with a secret code.Whatsapp is working on a chat lock tool where you can lock the chats with security code and the locked chats folder is no longer visible on the main chats page.To access the locked chats you need to enter the secret code in search bar and then you can access the locked chats.
Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg said “Rolling out secret code to Chat Lock on WhatsApp so you can protect your chats with a unique password. Now you can set your locked chats to only appear when you type the secret code in the search bar, so no one can unintentionally discover your most private conversations,”
This feature is currently rolling out and it may take a week to rollout for all devices.
