It’s time to say goodbye to Chromebooks. We all know chrome OS is a significant piece of Google. We may soon run Chrome OS on Android Smartphone. Samsung dex allows you to use the phone as a desktop. Google is experimenting to run ChromeOS on android.
Google named this project internally as Ferrochrome.
Ferrochrome is a ChromeOS VM built with an Open-Source version of ChromeOS. According to some sources it can run on any Tensor-Powered Pixel.
The Project is in Initial Stages. To run this OS you need to root and flash the ROM. Recently on the Android beta version there is a setting which allows Pixel to connect to an external monitor.
This leaves a hint towards the ChromeOS project. This makes the Google Ecosystem more powerful.
According to some leaks google may shutdown the chromebooks and make it available on Android smartphones, But making android ChromeOS compatible and sync both Chromebooks and Android smartphones will offer much better experience.
We need wait till the launch for more info.
